After that, she studied at Dublin's National College of Fine Arts in Dublin however, she left because she had a lack of motivation. She thought that she'd go on a vacation for a time to make sure she got her feet on the ground. When she was with her friends in a coffee shop an artist approached her and requested if she'd like to become a model. As she was convinced she could earn some cash the business, she decided to accept. Within a short time, she was employed professionally as model. Modeling agreements led to commercials, and she travelled the globe. One day, a casting director saw her work and suggested that she take up acting instead. She was sent to London at the age of 19 where she quickly won an audition for the latest James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). It was because she loved acting that she worked in the same direction. She filmed TV dramas, both in London and Dublin immediately following her debut film.
